Rachel and Chris were married at the Stone Mill on a lovely fall day.
It was a true pleasure to be a part of this intimate celebration for a lovely couple.

Rachel's bouquet was vivid and textural with a hint of creamy roses as a nod to bridal traditions.The floral style was rustic, warm and seasonal with beautiful open roses contrasting scabious pods and velvety dusty miller leaves. Berries and a sisal wrap completed the grooms unique boutonniere.

The autumn foliage was a perfect compliment
to a perfect day, just as we had hoped!
The light held long enough for outdoor
photos and a stroll through the gardens.

As guests entered the Stone Mill, a display
of lanterns and flowers set
the theme for the wedding celebration.

The escort table apples were enjoyed by guests at the end of the evening.

Because the ceremony was well after sunset on the cool evening, they choose to say their vows
indoors under a beautiful arch of colorful leaves and bittersweet vines.
Lanterns along the aisle provided soft illumination in the rustic style.

This beautiful bouquet, made for a lovely December wedding
also makes me think of Valentines Day, just around the corner!
The classic red and white color scheme is perfect for all the romantic holidays.
A snip of organza from the bride's gown was used to collar the flowers.

I love to post beautiful photos and these just came in from
Brian Brenizer Photography.

You can see Anne and Griffin's table in the previous post but here are the happy couple!

We love Anne's vibrant bouquet and Griffin's peacock feather boutonniere
(a theme carried throughout the wedding).

The bridal bouquet combined an eclectic selection of flowers:
green garden roses and hypericum berries, bright blue gentian, purple lisianthus and veronica
with scabious pods and thistle for even more texture. The bridesmaid's posies
were wrapped with peacock blue ribbon and they wore peacock feather fascinators
to coordinate with the men's boutonnieres.

Almost all of myguests commented on how amazing the flowers both looked at the ceremony wrappedin gorgeous birch vases, and on the tables. My amazing escort card table included gorgeous branches with flower accents.

I can't say enough good things about Surroundings, and Diane Wagner inparticular. The New York Botanical Garden was the perfect setting on a beautiful sunny October day. We provided the autumn foliage in an oversized arch - a special request by the groom. The bridemaid's bouquets added a touch of fresh green to the sparkling day.

Late Summer Tappan Hill Wedding

This late Summer wedding at Tappan Hill was the perfect mix of elegant and earthy. Green ivy, paired with white calla lilies and masses of cream roses, adorned the birch-based chuppah for the outdoor garden ceremony. Inside, the guests were surprised with bright orange spray roses, mini orchids and large terracotta callas in alternating high and low centerpieces. Burnished copper containers with amber and mercury glass votive candles created a soft, warm glow in the room adding a level of sophistication to this beautiful event.

Amanda and Josh's wedding at the Stone Mill was a beautiful summer affair full of fun, whimsical details. From Amanda's gorgeous feathered headpiece, to the custom cake topper of the bride and groom, this affair was both personal and chic. Pops of purple added flare to the bride's bouquet and royal purple napkins accented each of the colorful centerpieces. Numerous votives created a soft glow on every table that was warm and inviting in the beautiful Stone Mill space.

Our industry has recently been flooded with overly-decorated and overly-themed weddings, and this affair really brings us back to our love for understated beauty. The fresh and simple green, cream and white color palate adds a touch of softness to the sleek-dressed black on black wedding party. Alternating high and low table arrangements are surrounded by floating white candles, creating a soft glow in the room. Nature Inspired Stone Mill Wedding

Remember this sneak peek we shared a few weeks ago? Well here’s some gorgeous shots from the actual wedding.

Moss baskets were filled with green hydrangea, pink peonies and garden roses, purple lisianthus and trailing ivy, tulips and iris, bringing elements from the surrounding gardens to the tabletops. Mini feathered birds adorned centerpieces and were complimented by paper bird place cards that rested perfectly on each water glass.

We think this wedding is everything a summer celebration at the Stone Mill should be - from the bright color palate to the whimsical bird details, it is a prefect expression of the bride and groom's love of nature!

We were inspired to stage a mini-shoot in our design studio while we were arranging the flowers for this June wedding. Below you can see small arrangements for the cocktail hour in a fresh palate of greens, creams and whites, and a few great shots of the personal flowers for the wedding. A variety of boutonnieres were created for the large wedding party and a sweet pink ribbon was tied around the junior bridesmaids bouquet. The Bridal bouquet was a breathtaking mix of pastels accented by lavender sweet pea, tied together with cream ribbon and accented with a single crystal at the top. Simple, elegant and timeless!

We were asked to design a bouquet that was embellished with anything 'out of the ordinary,' and we chose to put a Surroundings twist on a beach wedding bouquet. The birch chuppah came alive with vines and autumn leaves making the coral roses on each base pop. The "Pre-Wedding" Wedding Party at Bloomingdale's

This past Thursday, we had the pleasure of being a vendor at The "Pre-Wedding" Wedding Party at Bloomingdale's. This event, sponsored by The Registry at Bloomingdale's, was a huge hit! Check out our table setting below-a mix of coral and peach roses, white and green hydrangeas, white lisianthus and brown cymbidium orchids made a perfect centerpiece in our bronze urn.

Each passing bride stopped to admire our blooms and paper goods (see below), and the larger bouquet turned so many heads that it even got walked down the fashion show runway with the bride! Our two bouquets were raffled off at the end of the night to lucky brides-to-be...a perfect ending to a wonderful evening.
